KIND Christmas day event, a great success

December 27th, 2011 | Posted by Kind in Uncategorized

The KIND centre hosted a slightly older group than it is used to this Christmas . Twenty older members of our Community were treated to a wonderful Christmas Day. A KIND team of staff and volunteers ensured that an amazing day was had by all. The day was rounded off by a special guest appearance, Emma Dears gave our guests a sensational vocal performance which had us all singing along in true Christmas spirit. Our guests well fed, entertained and royally looked after were all safetly delivered home by 7.00p.m. The KIND Team then collapsed!! Special thanks must go to the following for their help and hard work in putting such a special day together; South Liverpool Community Transport( Bernie Smith), Steve and Josie Kelly, Emma Dears, Paul Yip and our amazing KIND Team led by Elizabeth Colford, Trish Yip, Sue Gannon, Tom, Steve and Pat Spence, Salmone, Luke Yip, Anthony Williams, Joan Evans, Anthony and the wonderful Wildman Family. Together we made Christmas 2011 very special for 20 older members of our Community who would otherwise would not have had such a happy time.
