I am writing to thank you all for creating such a wonderful learning experience for my class. The children had a fantastic time at the centre and were able to develop many of their skills. I was impressed at how quickly the SEED centre staff created trusting relations with the children and how eager they were to please. Your behaviour management echoed the style created in our classroom. The children were very aware of the positive management put in place and knew straight away that a high level of behaviour was expected. I liked the use of your contract which allowed the children to take ownership of the rules and the management of their learning/behaviour (I have since adopted this in class). The centre itself and the style of teaching enabled all ability levels to get excited and achieve in all areas of the work/challenges they were completing. The SEED centre was able to offer experiences that the children would not be able to take part in in class. The children have come back to school ‘egg’ mad carrying out experiments, writing stories and some even creating homes for eggs. Thank you again on behalf of myself and my class for an excellent exciting learning experience. We hope to come back again soon.

KIND was the best school trip I have ever been on. We had fun whilst learning about eggs and how to save them. We had fun at lunch time we won best table award and took part in a quiz. I enjoyed this school trip it was the best ever!!!!

Our trip to KIND was not only fun it was also educational. We learnt all about materials whilst saving the eggs from the frying pans. We made parachutes, lifts, flying machines and boats and then we got to test them all. It was great! It was funny when Stephen Yip changed the words of a song to make it about eggs. All the staff were friendly and made us feel at home. The day was awesome! I hope we can go back again soon. Thank you KIND.

I really enjoyed the experiments we did at KIND. I liked learning about the Egglozoids. I liked testing the flying machine and dropping the parachute off the balcony to see if the egg survived. We made a house and a boat, we got to work in small groups and we had lots of fun. All the staff were really Kind and told us how well behaved we were (which our teacher was pleased about). Can I come back please?

Our trip to KIND SEED centre was amazing! We learned lots whilst having fun. KIND is a very friendly place and all the staff made us smile and looked after us. The whole class had fun saving the Egglozoids from the evil frying pans. We have written adventure stories about the Egglozoids and their enemies in our big write. We had a best table competition at lunch time and my table won because we spoke quietly and ate all our food. Best table award is a good idea because it made us think about how we could eat healthy, keep tidy and not mess about. I loved the whole day and would love to go again and see what other activities they do.

Aviva recently host an event that recognises their nationwide
insurance brokers work in their local community.  Griffiths & Armour who are a local
Liverpool Insurance Broker, entered their charity KIND into the competition
that included 301 other brokers who entered in their chosen charities.  KIND came second in their category and
received an award for Highly Commended charity and a cheque for £2,500 to help
support KIND’s long standing schools programme.

KIND who have been running in Liverpool for over 37 years,
form a vital part of the local community, by helping children and their
families cope with the many forms of disadvantage they face in their everyday
lives.  The charity is an old fashioned
charity who has been delivering a service that is 95% funded through
fundraising alone, so to receive support like this from Aviva and Griffiths
& Armour forms a vital part of their income stream and helps support the
charity to continue in their work with young children and developing their
skills and future prospects.

Stephen Yip says: ”We thank Griffiths & Armour for their
support and entering us into this national competition.  We are delighted to have been a part of it,
and to come second out of all the other worthy causes made me very proud of
what KIND has achieved to date.  This
money will help towards continuing our work with children who don’t get the
same chances in life like most of us.  We
believe that every child deserves that chance to reach their potential.”

Griffiths & Armour is now committed to working with the
charity KIND to fundraise and provide expertise that will enhance their
resources to help the charity improve their processes that will ultimately
raise awareness of this worthy cause.

The stalls are open between 11am and 8pm Saturday and Sunday. It promises to be a fun filled family weekend will lots of things to do for all the family.
