It costs an average of £4,000 to run KIND’s S.E.E.D. Centre for a week and we need your help to keep going.

Social Environmental Education Development

Developed in two phases over a ten-year period, the KIND S.E.E.D. Centre transformed an inner city derelict site into a highly valued community resource.

Although primarily aimed at supporting the needs and aspirations of children, the Centre has produced a range of learning and skill development opportunities for people of all ages. We are constantly seeking new ways to meet identified needs.

“Parenting classes are a very effective way of reducing anti-social behaviour in children. Research has shown that up to 40% of children with early life difficulties develop subsequent conduct disorder, including drug misuse, criminal and violent behaviour”
Dr Judy Hutchings, British Medical Journal 2007
